Sunday 18 March – Waterbird Count

Meet: 10am at the Tea Hut, Wanstead Park.

The last of our monthly winter counts of ducks, grebes and other waterbirds will probably show a falling off in numbers of Gadwall and Tufted Duck, but maybe the chance of an early Garganey on its way north. The information we collect is fed into a national database to monitor the health of these birds’ populations. The count starts at 10am and usually finishes around 12:30.

Free, organised by the The WREN Group. No experience necessary.
