Public Consultation on the Future of Wanstead Park

The City of London's Open Spaces Department will be holding a public meeting to discuss Wanstead Park and its future on Saturday 6th February 2010 at the Function Room, Wanstead Golf Club, Overton Drive, Wanstead E11 2LW from 2.30pm - 4.00pm.
The guest speaker will be Sarah Green from English Heritage and speakers from City of London's Open Spaces Department will include Sue Ireland (Director of Open Spaces) and Paul Thomson (Superintendent of Epping Forest). There will be opportunities to ask questions and to contribute any ideas or suggestions you may have.
So, if you are a Wanstead Park visitor or a resident living near Wanstead Park and would like to hear about its future, please come along. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Car parking is available on site. The nearest underground station is Wanstead (8 minute walk, approximately 600 yards).
Directions from the station: exit station on car park side into The Green, walk straight into St Mary's Avenue, turn left into Overton Drive and the Golf Club is on the right.
